Current Registrations
Registration for our 2026 Evaluations is now open.
Evaluations will be held at 4M Athletics (#2010 - 2600 Portland Street SE) on Saturday January 3rd, Sunday January 4th, and Sunday January 11th. Cost is $50.
The three dates are offered to help accommodate busy family schedules. Players are welcome to attend as many as they like but only need to attend one of the sessions to be evaluated.
Evaluation Times are:
U13 9:00am-11:00am
U15 11:00am-1:00pm
U18 1:00pm-3:00pm
Please bring your equipment and clean indoor shoes to each session.
Volunteer Requirements

As with all minor sports, families are expected to help their player and the association through volunteering. More information and opportunities will be posted early in the new year.

Financial Assistance Information
The Calgary City Royals pride ourselves on delivering a cost conscious and competitive program that balances a high caliber baseball experience with reasonable fees.
The following items are some of the costs that our fees cover:

Uniforms and apparel package

Field/indoor facility rentals and permit costs

Tournament entry fees
-
Umpire fees
-
Baseball Alberta registration, insurance, player and league fees

Consumables (baseballs / chalk / incidentals)
*Travel and accommodation are not funded by the team’s budgets
Many of the item costs are variable and the club's Treasurer acts on the Team’s behalf to manage and administer funds. No coaches are paid and all of the team's officials are volunteers. Throughout the season there are fundraising opportunities and all donations are welcome to help lower individual player costs.
Depending on tournaments and field rental fees, the cost per player will range from $1750 to $1950. These are current estimates and all offer letters for the 2025 season will receive a draft budget.
